Mount Barney is QLD's 4th highest mountain (1,359 metres) and one of the state's most spectacular mountains. and is a mecca for experienced bushwalkers and climbers. It's part of the McPherson Range and presents walkers with some formidable challenges and is no place for novice walkers.

Spectacular Mount Lindesay (1,195 metres or 3,855 ft) lies on the Queensland-New South Wales border, approximately 140 km south west of Brisbane, Australia. Mount Lindesay is remarkable for its tiered summit, the eroded remnant of lava flows from the nearby Focal Peak shield volcano.
